Product Information
The Shields® Hinged Patella Stabilizer provides control of the patella reducing discomfort and enhancing recovery. The brace has a removable Trakaderm® "U" buttress that can be used to lift and elevate the patella into a more natural position. Independent elastic calf and thigh straps provide further adjustability and conforms to the anatomy, while Kuhl™ perforated neoprene fabric is used for warmth and compression.
- For fine tuning of the patella position, malignments of glide, medial/lateral tilt, anterior/posterior tilt, AP Tilt, lateral or medial subluxation, patella dislocation, chondromalacia, or rehabilitation after total knee replacement
- Hinges can be removed for step-down application
- Buttress is tapered for easier placement
