The Ossur Rigid Dressing (OSD) immobilizes, protects and controls postoperative edema in the transtibial residual limb immediately following transtibial amputation surgery. Immobilization and edema control are achieved by providing a firm dressing formed to match the volume and shape of the residual limb.
- Made of soft, pliable material, conforming to the shape of the limb
- Made rigid by creating a vacuum in the internal chambers of the dressing
- Allows inspection during early rehabilitation
- Easy to adjust for volume matching during postoperative use
- Lightweight - facilitates early mobilization
All items shipped ground, 2nd Day Air, and 3rd Day Air direct from the manufacturer will be a flat rate of $10 per shipment. All items shipped Next Day Air Saver will be $40 and $55.00 for Next Day Air.
