Product Information
The Motion Control (MC) Hand is made with high-strength, CNC machined fingers. It is wide opening and has a built-in safety release. The MC Hand serves as a useful tool for many tasks and lifestyles. The ProPlus option features a controller inside the MC Hand allowing interchange with other manufacturers’ systems. Flexion Wrist or Multi-flex Wrist options are available, as well as an optional MC Wrist Rotator. For high durability and high speed, a brushless DC motor is used.

The ETD Flag Option is Force Limiting Auto Grasp. When the flag is engaged in the hand, pinch force is limited to approximately 2 lbs. When a muscle contraction occurs it is pulsed up. Also, auto grasp tightens the grip if an inadvertent signal is sensed.

The In-Hand Wrist rotator for hands connects the electric wrist rotator distal to the quick disconnect. Options for Standard or ProPlus hands.
Multi-Flex Wrist Option
The Motion Control Multi-Flex Wrist allows movement in multiple directions and is spring loaded to the center of travel. The spring loaded centering provides a ”natural” feel. The wrist can flex in any direction as needed and adjust to the loads placed on it, which provides a more comfortable feel versus a rigid wrist. The manual latch mechanism enables or disables the latch. When the latch is enabled, the wrist is locked. When the latch is disabled, the wrist is unlocked.Standard, ProPlus, ETD, and ETD2 options are available.
