The Model Williams LSO flexes the lumbar spine. It is designed with metallic components made from 2024-T3 aluminum. Each band is padded with rubber, covered on the inside with Naugahyde®, and covered on the outside with white elk. Two lateral uprights are pivotably attached to the thoracic band, while the pelvic band is stabilized by a pair of oblique bars attached to the pelvic band and pivotably attached to the lateral bars.
