The Med-Surg™ Shoe is compatible with Darco's Peg-Assist System™ replacement insole with removable pegs to effectively off-load pressure from desired area of the plantar aspect of the foot. The System™ has been upgraded with a denser sole composition to prevent bottoming out, a stronger adhesive to prevent separation of materials under heavy use and a support board to prevent pegs from shifting over time. Peg-Assist insole system sold separately.
