The Dynamic Extension Assist Knee Joint with Power can be used as a double upright or unilateral upright joint. A dial screw allows the practitioner to increase or decrease extension pressure. The joint can be locked in 2 degree increments and can be used to relieve pressure temporarily to give the patient a break while not losing ground on the contracture. These joints are primarily used for Contracture correction. With a modification, these joints can be reconfigured to provide flexion assist.
