The Carbon Footplate is autoclaved, lightweight, and mirrors the foot’s silhouette for a comfortable fit in the shoe. It is intended to protect the MTP joints and the forefoot by limiting the ROM, distributing the pressure in the forefoot, and facilitating rollover. This footplate can also be used to gradually increase movement after immobilizing treatment with a post-op shoe or walker.
- Adjusted to shoes with a 7 – 10mm shoe drop
- Should be covered by an insole or custom foot orthotic
